Sizing Guide

To find your size:

    1. Grab one of your favorite shirts and a measuring tape.
    2. Lay the T-shirt flat and wrinkle-free on a smooth surface.
    3. Measure the chest width, which is the distance from pit to pit (this is the measurement that our size filter is based on).
    4. Measure the length, which is the distance from the highest collar point to the hem.

.

With the chest width, that you have measured on your shirt, you can find your size in our size filter. For example, if you measured a chest width of 56 cm, your size category will be “54 – 58 cm (L)”.

Important Note:

Often times the sizing of vintage clothing is not comparable to the sizes of modern productions. Depending on the decade and the country, the clothes come from, a labelled size L can nowadays correspond to a size S, M or even XL. Therefore, we have come up with our own sizing system, which is based on modern German sizing charts, and which may differ from the labeled size within the shirt.
